Flora's life has not been an easy one. Her father died before she was born, and to this day she cannot remember his name. She lived alone with her mother in a one-room cottage, though earlier on they did not have too much need of extra money has her father had been something of a penny-pincher; the money that they he not use to buy food was stored away over time, in case a situation like this did occur. Her mother also took up work as a maid, earning just enough for them to get by, and instilling in her daughter the values of working hard and caring for others.

When she was five years of age, her mother began to suffer from bouts of illness. Doctors were of little help, as they could not determine the cause, as well as being too expensive to continue to call on. Flora learned to take on the chores at home: cooking, cleaning, scrubbing and sewing, hurrying to the market with a list to buy what was needed. As time drew on, her mother's illness worsened, making it difficult for her to get out of bed on some days, and eventually, not at all. When Beatrice passed away three years later, she was left quite alone and orphaned, wandering the streets for a few months until she was taken in by the church.

She has lived a modest lifelat the church, working hard and becoming very dedicated to her path. After becoming completely inducted into the faith, she was able to learn small healing techniques, which she used to aid as many people as possible. Flora hasn't quite decided what she will be doing in a few years; she prefers stability to change, but there may be benefits in traveling. Though she is sure that she doesn't want to be completely alone, whichever way she decides.

She is very hardworking, as she has had years of practice taking care of others. It is something that she continues to do, giving little thought to herself. If someone is ill or hurt, her first instinct is to go over to them and help. If there is something that needs to be tidied, her usual first instinct is to take care of it, though she attempts not to be too compulsive with her cleaning, as there are people who get paid for that. This applies to her studies as well; it is not exactly perfectionism, though she believes that it is very important for her to study and absorb as much knowledge as she can, and go over it as many times as necessary until she is comfortable with the material.

Other than that, she has a fairly sweet nature, though she is usually quiet. New experiences are a bit scary for her. She had been fairly close to her mother, and losing her left a hole in her emotionally. She hopes that this experience will allow her to at least make some friends, though she isn't sure if she is exactly emotionally ready to do so.

She is small, with a frame that is more childlike than womanly. She appears almost dollike and fragile, with very long hair, and soft eyes.
